A Message from the Artistic Director

On behalf of a community of wonderfully talented singers, I cordially invite you to join with us as we celebrate our third season of music-making. The Larkin Singers is a group of like-minded, motivated professionals, which seeks to offer programs of poignancy and beauty, incorporating works both from the pen of the great masters, and from the brilliant musical minds of today's generation.

We are thrilled to be offering four very distinctive, seasonal events that will, we hope, satisfy the palette of everyone who enjoys choral music. Fire and Light commemorates the lives of saints and angels, both of the past and of our own time. The moving and lovely Requiem by Johannes Brahms forms our second program, offered here in a version for two pianists, and featuring two outstanding soloists. In Man made Manifest, we journey together with Jesus as he came to be among us and minister to us. Rise up offers the opportunity to do just that, and celebrate the brightness and opportunity that comes with the change of seasons.

All concerts are offered in the signature beauty of Christ Church Deer Park, easily accessible by public or private transportation. There is no shortage of great choral singing in our city, but we believe we offer something new, something exciting, and something worth trying. Please join us for a concert. We guarantee that you'll leave wanting more.
